Our standard specification “Pathfinder®” range of Jackleg Portable Office Buildings is available for both rental and purchase. These high-quality buildings are designed and built in-house to meet the highest standards. Whether you need additional office space, a canteen, sales office, toilet unit, changing room, meeting room, conference room, training room, or gatehouse, the Pathfinder® range offers versatile solutions.

Available Sizes and Configurations

The Pathfinder® portable office fleet starts at 12’x8′, but the smallest unit in this range is our 6’ x 6’ Sentry Box. While all Pathfinder® units up to 24′ long are built 8′ wide, our largest Pathfinder® Portable Building measures 32′ x 10′. All portable buildings can be open-plan or divided into multiple rooms. Additionally, jackleg cabins can be stacked, with access to the top unit via a 15-tread staircase and landing, also available from ContainerKing® / rent-a-unit.

Construction and Materials

HOW TO BUY | FOR RENTAL (or) HIRE PORTABLE BUILDINGS :

Buying a New or Pre-Used Portable Building:

• Payment Policy: Full payment is required prior to delivery for new or pre-used portable office buildings, anti-vandal cabins, shipping containers, or container conversions unless you have extensive trading history and are an account holder.

Ordering a Bespoke Shipping Container Conversion or Portable Jackleg Office Accommodation Building:

• Deposit and Payment: A deposit of 25%-40% of the total purchase value is required, depending on the customization level. The balance is due before delivery.

Equipment Hire for First-Time Customers:

• Payment Terms: Initial payment includes the HIAB Delivery Charge and the first 4 weeks’ rental in advance. Future rental payments should be made via standing order to secure the guaranteed hire rate. HIAB Collection Charges are billed at the end of the hire period based on the haulage contractor’s cost.

Equipment Hire for Existing Customers:

• Account Terms: Existing customers with good trading history can place orders via email with standard 30-day account terms.

HIAB TRANSPORT | CRANE ASSISTED TRANSPORT:

When ordering bespoke portable buildings, anti-vandal cabins, or container conversions, we arrange crane-assisted haulage (HIAB Haulage) for transportation locally or across the UK. The Creation of Our RENT-A-UNIT Portable Building Business

During the development of our new portable building business rent-a-unit, we aimed to create a sub-brand under the name Pathfinder® for the name of our standard specification portable units. We intentionally designed these units in respect of of the original Wraith RENT-A-UNIT standards and colours of the main body. Wraith rent-a-unit was purchased in the late 1980’s by then “Godfrey Davis” and later explained hereand merged with a portable building manufacturing  business to become what was Elliotthire or Elliott UK. Later after David Wraith returned to the Portable Building Business he started and grew Wraith Accommodation PLC over several years and merged this latest business with Elliotthire
