This is an immaculate-condition 20ft × 8ft ISO shipping container that’s already had the works — fully framed, insulated and ply lined, complete with lighting, heating, electrical sockets, built-in rear shelving and useful tool-storage hooks.

Finished externally in RAL 6007 Bottle Green, the underlying Corten steel container is in excellent condition throughout.

It has recently returned from a long-term hire where it was positioned close to a tree, so the exterior does need a good jet wash. That’s dirt rather than deterioration, and we’ve deliberately photographed and described the container honestly rather than pretending otherwise.

Underneath it all is an exceptionally good container.

Fully Lined & Insulated

The walls and ceiling have been constructed using 63mm CLS timber framing, insulated with 100mm glass-wool Loft Roll 44 insulation and then fully finished internally in plywood.

Combined with the heavy-duty 25mm black film-coated marine plywood floor, this creates a clean, robust and substantially upgraded internal storage environment.

Full Electrics — Already Installed

Unlike a basic lined container, KNG71664 already benefits from a complete electrical installation, including:

Internal lighting
Electrical sockets
Electric heating

Subject to a suitable external electrical supply, it’s ready to provide powered, illuminated and heated storage without the expense and inconvenience of starting a conversion from scratch.

Built-In Shelving & Tool Storage

There’s another useful extra at the rear.

The container has three full-width shelves, approximately 12 inches deep, providing useful storage for smaller equipment, boxes, consumables and tools without sacrificing the main floor area.

Additional hooks have also been fitted for storing items such as shovels, brushes and other long-handled tools neatly against the wall.

It’s a simple addition, but one that makes this container particularly practical for commercial, grounds-maintenance, facilities, estate or general equipment storage.
